For Ryan's interview, we did something a little different. Instead of me asking a bunch of questions, I just gave him a few topics and he wrote whatever came to mind. Find out what one of our finest had to say below. - Ben
London London is sweet. It's my home. I grew up there, my family is there, I've got a lot of friends there, Vic park is there. Right now though, I feel like I need a change, I've gotta get out of there. I"ll be moving to Toronto in a few weeks and I'll probably be there for a few years at least.
Skateboarding
How do you write only a paragraph on how awesome skateboarding is? It's fun, that's pretty much it. That's why I started and that's why I still skate. For fun. There's so many things that are great about skating. Favorite tricks, favorite skaters, favorite styles. It's all great. If I didn't skate I never would have seen Gino Ianucci do backside tailslides, or Tom Penny's frontside flips, or Guy Mariano’s part in Mouse, or known how good a 360 flip feels. One last great things about skateboarding is travelling. I’ve had some of the most fun in my life going to new cities or countries to skate.
As far as skaters that I like, the ones that I get really excited to see are my friends. Darrell Smith, Jai Ball, Bryan Wherry (obviously). Jesse Landen, Kuba Rygal.

Studio
Studio was a good chance to try to do my own thing. Unfortunately, Darrell, Jai and Myself were(are) all working full time and didn't have much time or energy to put into running things. Darrell and Jai are still doing it though, and they just added Jean Mat Vincent to the team.
Supra
I was planning on moving to Toronto and had to find a job, so I asked Sean at Supra if he needed any help around the office. A week or so later he told me he did, and said he mentioned a position as sales rep for a ton of sweet companies. I figured this opportunity probably wouldn't come up again soon, or at all, so I jumped at the chance, and now I’m working in Toronto during the week and sleeping at Oliver's place, and I’m at home in London on weekends. I should be making the move to Toronto soon, though, once we find a place to live.
Travelling
Barcelona, obviously, is amazing. The spots there are unreal. Montreal is amazing and still somewhat untapped from what I’ve seen. Winnipeg is way better than you think it is. I spent a winter in San Francisco and it was a blast, but not too productive.
On my list of places left to go there’s Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, Russia, Australia, Asia, I’m pretty much game to go anywhere. Travelling is great.

Okay, Oliver, Jesse and Comber kept bugging me to do it and we were at the spot. I started messing with it to see if it would work, and then they wouldn't let me stop. Jesse kept going to get me water from the store and everything. Eventually, I did it. It took an hour or two I think. On the way back down the hill from the spot, Oliver bought me some beers and we sat in a park and drank them. I was so tired and hungry that I ended up being drunk maybe ten or fifteen minutes after I did it.
Future
I just started here at Supra so there’s that. I’m getting married next summer. Aside from that there’s no real major plans. We’ve gotta make the move up to Toronto in a week or so.

Thank You's
Mom and Dad, Lyndsey, Darrell, Scott Wilcox, Ryan Machan, everyone else in London, Jeff Comber, Oliver Orrell, Peter, Marco, Sean and Mike at Supra Distribution for hooking me up for so long, then setting me up with this job. Thanks Ben, sorry this took so long.
OK, so you're a sponsored skater, too pussy to put your real name, and you're hating on another sponsored canadian skater, WOW, that's really something to be proud of.
